Newport County and Lincoln City appear to be conducting a very public transfer - on Twitter. The two Conference Premier rivals have been tweeting about Jake Thomson, the former Southampton midfielder.
Newport tweeted: "We can confirm that Jake Thomson has joined Lincoln City on a month's loan." That promoted the following response from Lincoln's official Twitter account: "Can you therefore get the paperwork signed and sent to us so the move can be completed?" pbs.twimg.com/media/A_nafqdCMAAVHjz.jpg |

Josh King signs for Blackburn permanently after his loan spell from Man Utd. Good signing for us. Even with the bigger names we splashed out on at the start of the year this guy has managed to work his way into the starting line up. |

There was a snag in that last night from what I read on twitter. Something about agent fees.
Joe Cole will cost us 3 million to get rid of. What a great bit of business Christian Purslow did when he signed him.

Yossi Benayoun has returned to Chelsea after his loan spell at West Ham.
Phil Jagielka has signed a new contract at Everton keeping him at Goodison Park until 2017.
Ryan Shawcross has agreed a new five-and-a-half-year contract, Stoke manager Tony Pulis has confirmed.
Also with the Cole deal, apparently Liverpool will still pay him £50k p/w for the next 18 months until his deal would have expired.
